Embankment Stabilization & Restoration Boca Raton

For embankment stabilization and restoration services in Boca Raton, call the experts at Shenandoah. From lakes and ponds to waterways, dams and roadways, we have been stabilizing and restoring embankments since 1976. Embankment failure mainly occurs from the erosion of subsoils due to prolonged emersion in floodwaters, water migration, and nearby excavation or trenching. If left alone, more serious problems can develop. We have helped thousands of customers, and communities throughout the state of Florida with embankment stabilization and restoration, saving them millions of dollars in real estate assets.  If you are experiencing embankment failure and are in need of embankment stabilization and restoration services, contact us today.

Shenandoah draws on its vast experience with the full range of techniques to provide optimal embankment stabilization and restoration solutions for various projects.

Shenandoah's work withstood Hurricane Ian

In October of 2021, Shenandoah Construction was contracted by Lee County Department of Transportation to remediate seawall issues on the Sanibel Island Bridge Span A.

Sept. 28, 2022 Ian made landfall in southwest Florida as a Category 4 Hurricane with max winds of 150 mph.

Seawall still standing.  The material did its job.

Cost Effective Method of Embankment Stabilization & Restoration

We use an innovative cost effective, eco-friendly, deep polymer injection process. These structural polymers will expand, and cure in the presence of water, meaning it will repel water and maintain its structure in heavily saturated areas. The polymers expand and compress loose soils, fill subsurface voids and fissures, and tightly bond with surrounding soils. The industrial polymers are precisely injected into 5/8” diameter holes, drilled through the ground or pavement at different depths, and grid patterns. Sometimes in depths of 15 to 20 feet. The industrial polymers reach 90% of their strength in 15 minutes, and 100% of strength in 24 hours, creating an impenetrable watertight barrier, restoring the integrity of the embankment. This method is far superior to traditional mudjacking and slurry grouting.
